Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared

Here’s a link to a video that, once you get over the shock value, has a very poignant message about education and media (and children’s cartoons also)

Hello Makia,Thank you so much for your help. I finally worked it out with wordpress, I finally posted for the second assignment, I don’t know if you want me to post #1 just for the record. Well I would like to attend your study class Monday to prepare for the Midterm. I hope more than 5 people sign up. Thanks again,Evelyn AlmonteMedia 180 Date: Thu, 7 Mar 2013 01:55:32 +0000 To:

Wow, aside from how disturbing this video is … It does portray how there are many hidden messages even within the children’s programs . Media can really create your thinking patterns by a simple show and trigger obscure emotions. For example, music videos have lyrics in which you might not find too suspicious but then when you see the actual images you wonder what’s the real meaning behind that song and how does it relate. Just like there are conspiracy theories that Sesame Street and this video shows a clear message on how they can portray one thing but mean another.
